lundehunddogThe Lundehund (also known as the Norwegian Puffin Dog) is one of the rarest dogs in the world – at one point there were only 5 in existence.  This ancient breed

  • has 6 toes on each foot

  • can close its ears to keep dirt and moisture out of the ear canal

ears

  • can bend its head backwards over its shoulders so that the forehead touches the back

neck

  • has extremely mobile shoulder-joints and can stretch both front legs straight out to the sides
