Chew on this: according to a recent list compiled by VPI’s claims adjusters, socks, underwear, panty hose, rocks and balls are the most common items surgically removed from pets’ gastrointestinal tracts. http://www.petinsurance.com/healthzone/pet-articles/pet-health/Pets-Swallow-Household-Items.aspx
Puppy-proof your dog’s environment to keep him safe!
We have a little pup like this! He is a Schipperke, and a sock thief, trash digger, Lego gnawer, pillow destroyer… and we just love him to pieces. In fact, he’s the subject of the sequel to my current book, “Otis Goes to School,” (which is about a docile, loving, lab/spaniel mix who would never consider eating the popcorn and cranberries off the Christmas tree). No doubt, the sequel is to be a hilarious yarn, and the joke is always on us! Thanks for the great article. Appreciate the info.
